Our martial arts academy has been providing Wing Chun, Tai Chi & Kids Kung Fu classes for over 20 years. Sifu Peter Atkin started the Eastern Kung Fu Academy in the Melbourne suburb of Boronia in January of 2004. Our focus is to guide adult and kid students to evolve their skill level and reach beyond their potential. Everyone is on this martial arts journey of transcendence, especially Sifu Pete.

That journey is about mastery and never assuming that we have mastered or have finished that martial arts journey. There is always something to improve, no matter how long you have been training. At Eastern Kung Fu we also try our best to be respectful and understanding of other martial arts styles and adhere to the art of war principle to know yourself and to know others.

Our goal is to develop our Kung Fu as best as we can and absorbing what is useful and effective into our Wing Chun and Tai Chi whilst remaining true to the core principles of those styles. Never assume and always stay present in the moment. We look forward to meeting you and sharing these great martial arts with you with energy, enthusiasm, friendliness, respect and kindness.
